Rotary Drum Cylinder

Solid-liquid separator (Rotary Drum Cylinder) is a mechanical filtration method. It is suitable for separating the tiny suspended substances (hair, pulp fibers, fine particles) present in the liquid to the maximum extent to achieve the purpose of solid and liquid two-phase separation. The difference between solid-liquid separation and other methods is that the filter medium void is particularly small, and the suspended solids are retained with the help of centrifugal force of screen rotation, which has a high flow rate under a lower hydraulic resistance. 


Main structure and working principle

The Rotary Drum Cylinder mainly consists of transmission device, overflow weir water distributor, rinsing water device, filter cylinder, base, water collection tank, slag discharge tank and other major components. The outer filter is stainless steel wire mesh, its working principle is to treat water from the water pipe into the overflow weir water distributor, after a short period of steady flow, from the outlet uniform overflow, distributed in the opposite direction of the rotation of the filter cylinder screen.

The water flow and the inner wall of the filter cylinder to produce relative shear movement. The water is filtered with high efficiency, the solids are intercepted and separated, tumbling along the spiral guide plate inside the canister and discharged from the other end of the canister, and the wastewater filtered out from the filter screen flows away from the water collection tank directly below under the guide effect of the protective cover on both sides of the canister. The machine is equipped with a flushing water pipe outside the filter cartridge, which is sprayed with pressure water (3kg/cm2) in a fan shape to flush and unclog the filter screen to ensure that the filter screen always maintains good filtering capacity.
