Applications

This drum screen is widely used to separate settleable solids from liquid in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. It effectively removes small particulate matter, fallout, and floating materials.

Filter Element Options

JX Filtration offers three types of filter media, each tailored to specific slot size, flow rate, and service life requirements.

  • Wedge Wire Screen
    Suitable for 20–1500 micron slots. Advantages: high permeability, longest service life, and no need to change the screen. Ideal for continuous, maintenance-free operation.

  • Perforated Mesh Screen
    Suitable for slot sizes above 1 mm (1000 microns). Features a 99% interception rate for coarse solids but has low permeability. It can be used for a long time without frequent replacement.

  • Woven Mesh Screen
    Suitable for 10–50 micron slots, with a treatment capacity below 100 m³/h. Provides fine filtration but requires screen replacement every 1–2 years.
